Magnetic Toroidal Moment under Partial Magnetic Order in Hexagonal Zigzag-Chain Compound Ce<sub>3</sub>TiBi<sub>5</sub>

We theoretically investigate an antiferromagnetic structure in a hexagonal zigzag-chain compound Ce3TiBi5, which shows linear magnetoelectric effect metals and characteristic temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibility. find partial order as coexistence nonmagnetic state on zigzag chain staggered chains. The latter accompany in-plane toroidal dipole moments are responsible for the observed behaviors. show that frustration arising from competing exchange interactions plays important role to realize such order. Furthermore, we present spin–orbit coupling parameters induce physical phenomena driven by moment, nonlinear transport.
